New to osu!? Start here.

You generated a beatmap — now let's get you playing it.

What is osu!mania?

osu!mania is a free rhythm game where notes fall down vertical columns and you hit them in time with the music — like Guitar Hero or DDR, but on your keyboard. DanceGAI turns any song into a playable osu!mania beatmap (a .osz file), and osu! is the game you play it in.

1 Download osu! (free)

Get the game from the official site. The current client is osu!(lazer); the classic osu!(stable) works too — both play the beatmaps DanceGAI makes.

Download osu! from osu.ppy.sh →

Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android are all supported.

2 Install & make a free account

Run the installer, launch osu!, and create a free account in-game. That's your osu! profile.

3 Add your generated beatmap

Back on DanceGAI, download your .osz, then drag it onto the osu! window — it imports the whole difficulty set automatically. Full walkthrough here:
