AI osu! taiko Beatmap Generator
TaikoGAI will generate osu! taiko beatmaps from any song — dons, kats, drumrolls and swells. It is planned and not available yet.
Status
Not available yet. DanceGAI currently creates osu! mania and osu! standard (beta) maps; TaikoGAI is planned, with no release date. We won't announce one until it works.
What a taiko generator has to get right
A taiko map looks simple — one lane — but its feel comes from choices a generator must make well:
- Don and kat — which hits are centre (red) and which are rim (blue), so the color patterns match the drums and melody of the song.
- Big notes and finishers — where the strong, two-handed hits land to mark accents.
- Drumrolls and swells — when sustained sounds become rolls or swells instead of single hits, and how dense a stream can be at the target difficulty.
What you can do today
DanceGAI creates osu! mania maps with ManiaGAI and osu! standard maps with OsuGAI (beta) today. If the song you want works for you in one of those modes, the osu! mania generator or the osu! standard generator turns it into a playable mapset.

Is there an AI taiko mapper on DanceGAI?
Not yet. TaikoGAI is planned; today DanceGAI creates osu! mania maps (4K–9K) and osu! standard maps (beta).
Can I convert a song to an osu! taiko map today?
Not with DanceGAI yet. In the meantime you can turn the same song into an osu! mania or osu! standard map.
